Exfoliating gloves have been used in Moroccan hammams for centuries, these gloves are made from a biodegradable material that is rough to the touch but skin-friendly.
The glove can be used with or without beldi soap, we recommend using this soap because it prepares and makes the exfoliation process much easier.
The process is not that simple, to have the desired results you must follow the instructions otherwise you will not have the desired effect.
The most common mistakes when using exfoliating gloves are:
- The use of shower gel before or other products, even the foam in the bath affects the results. The only product we recommend is beldi soap because it is made from natural olives and does not affect the results, in fact it improves them.
- Using the glove on dry skin, the glove relies on rubbing to deliver the promised results, using it on dry skin can cause scratching and is not recommended.
- The skin should be soft, standing in the warmest water for at least 5 minutes is necessary.
- Using it just before epilation can irritate the skin, it should be used afterwards to get rid of ingrown hairs under the skin.
Also peeling, i.e. dead skin coming off may or may not occur depending on your skin not all people have visible exfoliation but that doesn't mean that the benefits of exfoliation are not obtained.
